Extended range of SYNERGY aluminium enclosures

OKW’s award-winning SYNERGY enclosures can now be specified with a wide range of accessories for mounting and power supply.

These elegant desktop and wall-mount enclosures won an iF product design award. They are ideal for data systems engineering, network technology, building services systems, safety engineering, medical devices, measurement and control, IoT/IIoT, gateways, sensors and optoelectronics.

Accessories for SYNERGY now include battery compartments and clips for two, three or four AA cells, and button cell holders.

A wall suspension element enables the enclosures to be mounted vertically with one screw. Moulded in black (RAL 9005) ASA+PC (UL 94 V-0), the kit  includes a holder, cover plate and two anti-slide feet.

There is also an extender kit for raising the height of the PCB mounting pillars that enable circuit boards to be mounted in the top and bottom of each enclosure. Each kit includes four black ASA+PC extenders and four Torx T8 screws.

SYNERGY combines a matt anodised aluminium case body with ASA+PC top and bottom sections. Four internal assembly pillars snap into the recessed top; they are fixed to the base using four stainless steel Torx T10 anti-tamper screws that remain hidden.

The bottom part has an opening and a screw-down cover for a battery compartment or to access a memory card or cells mounted directly to the PCB. There is also an outlet for a cable up to ø 4 mm.

The enclosures are available in four shapes: S square, R round, E rectangular and O obloid. Plan sizes range from 100 x 100 mm to 200 x 100 mm, each in three depths: 40 mm, 70 mm and 100 mm.

OKW can supply SYNERGY fully customised. Services include machining, printing, laser marking, decor foils, EMC shielding, and installation and assembly of accessories.
