New IP 65 handheld enclosures

DATEC-COMPACT is manufactured from ASA+PC-FR for added toughness and UV-resistance. So it’ll stay strong even after regular and prolonged exposure to sunlight.

And in a first for OKW, you can specify DATEC-COMPACT with integrated charging contacts as standard, saving valuable production time and ultimately reducing project costs.

DATEC-COMPACT features everything you’ve come to expect from our handheld cases, such as comfortable ergonomic design and a large recessed area to accommodate membrane keypads or displays.

But in the video you’ll see a whole lot more besides – like the cleverly designed wall holder which allows charging from below. Or the sealed battery compartment which can accommodate SD cards and USB connectors.

At present, DATEC-COMPACT is available in size M (172 mm x 92 mm x 39 mm). Size L is expected in October. A third size will be launched at a date yet to be announced – watch this space.
